My Data Protection Statement
Data protection legislation allows me to process this information as I regard it to be useful within Pandamonium's legitimate interest. Your personal information will be processed in accordance with The Data Protection Act 2018.
The information you are asked to provide is necessary for me to best meet the needs of you and your
child. We may use this information to contact you about:
- Change of meeting or cancellation
- Illness within the group – e.g. Covid, chicken pox etc
- (more rarely) other relevant events that I am running for children within the community eg. future Family Fun Days.
When you sign up to a Pandamonium term, session or special event your information will be stored safely on Google Forms. I will not transfer this data into my personal mobile phone. I will store contact details in this way for the amount of time agreed during the sign up process. I will not pass your information on to anyone else. If you are concerned about the way your information is being handled, please contact Paul Fitzgerald. If you are still unhappy you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.
My Child Protection Promise
I, Paul Fitzgerald, believe that:
·- The welfare of the child is paramount;
·- All children, whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial origin, religious beliefs and/or sexual identity have the right to protection from abuse;
·- All suspicions and allegations of abuse should be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately;
·- All employees and volunteers linked with Pandamonium should have up to date DBS training and completed checks, so as they can respond appropriately
I will ensure that:
- any concerns about a child/young person are acted on, clearly recorded, referred on where necessary and, followed up to ensure the issues are addressed.
- all children will be treated equally and with respect and dignity
- the welfare of each child will always be put first
-· bullying will not be accepted or condoned;
- I endeavour to provide a positive role model.
- I will undertake relevant development and training to safeguard all participants at Pandamonium sessions.
