My Story

Having originally trained in Drama and Theatre Studies, both at Stratford-Upon-Avon and then at Bath Spa Uni, I continue to live my life appreciating the positive impact play and creativity has on living a contented life and relating well with those around us. My intensive year at Stratford-Upon-Avon had a very special ethos, to 'jump' without letting fear hold us back, and to have fun doing so.

Wherever life has taken me I have carried this playful determination with me. It is this ethos that I aim to pass on to the kids and clubs I work with - a zest for life, a security in our skin, a love of friendship, and teamwork, and laughter. These are the ingredients I have learnt through my drama training which make up Pandamonium!

Being a hands-on dad of two primary aged kids and a community worker at our local Church, I have often heard it said "Paul, you should be an entertainer!". The truth is I LOVE being silly and cheering people up, because I find it brings out the best in them (and in me too!) It is great to see kids and adults flourish as they build confidence and benefit from the connections with others that all of my groups bring.

Having worked with communities for years, I take safeguarding and risk assessing very seriously and meet all of the standards particular to each hosting school and venue. For the past seven years I have ran three toddler groups and am keen to keep strengthening bonds within the neighbourhood, for every age and stage of life. My kids groups help them to let off steam and learn social skills at the same time, whereas the Tuneless Choir I run is designed to let singers (and non-singers!) of all abilities let their hair down and have a place to wind down and have fun, blasting out songs to cheer every generation attending. After-all laughter is a great medicine! Pandamonium is built on fun - which we all need more of - and I can't wait to fling open the doors next term and get the endorphins rushing as we throw ourselves into the arts, helping us all to grow confidence and thrive.
